The first new moon of the second half of 2024 will be taking place at Cancer in 6th of July at 8:57am in the morning, AEST. After 14 months of lunar reversal phase, we are finally back to the regular lunar cycle with this new moon and back to the universal flow of deepening our trust and manifesting our heart desire.
Cancer Archetypes are someone who can fulfil how you want to be taken care of emotionally in every way. They are gentle, sensitive and considerate, project the energy of a calm lake as they can embrace every bit of you. They represent everything with the concept of home, like a home-made hearty meal, a piece of well-preserved furniture that has been with family for many years but still in very good shape, the old family album that has been cherished in the cupboard……These are all objects with strong Cancer features that serve as carriers of emotion. Emotion are key word to Cancer Archetypes. It is also their greatest gifts, which could connect them to the most intimate parts of people around them in terms of their feelings, their wounded parts, their longings and their vulnerabilities, and work as a channel to heal these people on emotional level.
How to react to their own emotion is a big lesson for Cancer Archetypes. They can function very well in the outside world. But when it comes back to home, they can be very emotionally immature. They would release this inner child of them that long for love and nurturing and look for compensations in their marriages or intimate relationships. Both the males and females would have unhealthy tendency to expect re-parenting from their parters. Yet the first big lesson to Cancer Archetypes with regard to emotion is to take accountability of healing their inner child, knowing it is not anyone else’s job to fix their wounds. They need to accept that life has its ups and downs, forgive on what they have not done and realise even with all the wounds, the imperfection, they still deserve to be loved.
Taking good care of themselves forms the basis of Cancer Archetypes healing their inner child and restoring their emotional security. In every current moment that they feel rejected and not being loved, they would go down the memory lane to revisit their first experience with this wound. But the adult version of them can simply play their ideal parents to re-parent their wounded inner child by giving exactly the kind of nurturing they need. Through this practice of self-love, Cancer Archetypes can realise that they themselves are their ideal parents, ideal partner, ideal mentor and ideal friend. They already have what they long for from others within. Gentle and tender as they are, they would gradually move out of their emotional shell, practicing sharing what they feel, what they sense and what they see with those who are interested and care about them. Their confidence, strength and the emotional satisfaction would get amplified during the way. Even if there are occasionally voice of disharmony like rejection, they would practice not taking it personally. Instead of shrinking back to their shell, they start to learn not to respond to these emotion from their wounded inner child as they are born to transcend those difficult emotional experience to grow into the God/Goddess version of them who master their emotion.
Emotion is not Cancer Archetype’s vulnerability, but their super power. When they start to listen to their emotion – the deepest voice from their souls, and respond to their emotion from a healthy and mature place, they are also working on the emotional level of collective karma in order to heal this world.
